HOUSE OF MORM

HOUSE OF MORM

A wooden chair with engraved floral patterns and gold accents, with a jar of vegetables, a rubber duck, a book, and lit candles placed on it. A yellow towel hangs on the wall behind, and a green-and-white checkered curtain partially covers the left side.

Welcome to House of Morm.

What is Morm?

Morm is a feeling that’s hard to describe with just one other word.

It’s that feeling of “5 more minutes” after your alarm goes off and you cocoon yourself deeper in bed, and we all know, it will be longer than that. It’s cosiness with a certain amount of grumpiness to it. A “cuddle me” but “leave me alone” all in one.

The sigh your dog makes when you hug them while they're sleeping. Or the little grunts and murmurs while they try to cozy themselves.

Like a chestnut, enveloped in a warm but prickly blanket.

I guess it’s our version of hygge. It is the refusal of harsh reality. It’s our escapism.
